Why do people think modeling is bad?

• Some people think modeling is bad because for many years fashion designers had their models lose so much weight that their physical appearance was skeletal and so much so, that one model was caught on tape while modeling and had very high heels on and her ankles could not balance her gait and she fell more than once. Fashion companies and designers were weighing in the girls to keep them extremely thin and some of the girls were either anorexic or bulimic. Some models had the courage to get out of the business and put on a healthy weight and then come forward to tell society really what was going on behind the closed curtains of fashion companies and designers. There is far more attention being paid to try and protect the models during this time and many are slim, but at least not skeletal in appearance. If a young woman wants to get into the modeling business it is not as glamorous as it looks and it takes a lot of work to get makeup on; hair done; quickly changing into different clothing; walking down the stage while also maintaining a reasonable weight during all of this a little private time for themselves.
