Sounds like you need to check the rocker clearance. Valve adjustment. Hopefully there is nothing broken. You will have to remove the cover to inspect. Do it asap.
Oil drain plug is located at the back of the engine, right side, ( foot brake side ) towards the bottom of the engine.
Look at the back of the engine where the slave is for the clutch. The bleeder is right there. Just follow the hyd. line on the right side.
There is a plug on the engine right beside the oil filter. This will drain the engine and rad. Or, just remove the lower rad. hose at the thermostat.

first off is the clacking noise when in park as well? if it is it may be a valve tap. you can research a valve tap it is common and usually not a huge problem right away.
