The 1987 and 2001 Yamaha Warrior engines are not the same. The 1987 model features a 350cc engine, while the 2001 model has a larger 400cc engine. Additionally, there are differences in design, performance characteristics, and technology between the two models due to advancements made over the years. Therefore, while they share some similarities as part of the Warrior line, they are distinct engines with different specifications.
