I'm 15 and really want to buy a 50cc scooter (moped). I know I need CBT and provisional license but since I'm too young I can't. My parents are letting my buy a 50cc scooter (I'm going to pay for the road tax and MOT) but then can I renew road tax for the 17 pounds at the post office with no insurance? Thanks.
Can you drive a scooter 50 CC inPhiladelphia without licence and also without insurance. How would you get the scooter insured if youdon'thave a driver licence?thanks
If the scooter is 50cc or less you do not need a motor cycle license, insurance, or a tag but you still need at least an ordinary drivers license to take it on the road.
I just called the DMV in New Mexico and that was their answer:"If that scooter goes on the road, then yes it needs registration and insurance, and just a car driver license, doesn't have to be a motorcycle driver license though. Anything above 50cc will need a motorcycle driver license, and of course in addition to the registration and insurance."
In the UK, a child aged 16 and above can ride a 50cc scooter on the road provided they have passed their Motorcycle Theory Test, Motorcycle Riding Test, have Insurance and the bike is taxed and MOT'd.
Not on a public beach or roadway.
No, not on any public roads.
not on public roads, only requirement is a valid drivers permit or modep permit. Scooter registration is $10 per year, insurance can be required by private property owners such as campgrounds. The same permits and insurance that a golf cart must have when operating at places like Myrtle beach state campground.
yes, all motorized vehicles intended to be driven on a road must be registered.
16 Years old with a valid drivers license.
On a public road you require a licence and valid insurance.
It depends on the state. Check with your state's DMV. It probably does need to be if driven on the street, but not if used off road.
you are allowed on the path but not the road.
