The mixture is a 40:1 ratio, that's 3.2 oz of two cycle oil to 1 gallon of gas
50 to 1. 1 gallon of gas to 2.6 oz of 2-cycle engine oil.
If, like most weed eaters, it is powered by a 2-cycle engine that has oil mixed with the gas, yes, it will be harmful to the car. If nothing else, the oil will foul the spark plugs and damage the catalytic converter.
The gas ratio for the Weed Eater Model 1700 typically requires a 50:1 mixture of gas to oil. This means you should mix 2.6 ounces of 2-cycle oil with 1 gallon of unleaded gasoline. Always check the user manual for specific instructions, as ratios can vary by model or based on manufacturer recommendations.

To remove the gas tank from a Craftsman weed eater, first ensure the engine is cool and the fuel is emptied. Use a screwdriver to remove the screws securing the gas tank to the body of the weed eater. Carefully disconnect any fuel lines attached to the tank, taking note of their positions for reassembly. Once disconnected, you can lift the gas tank away from the unit.
