Is the alternator on a 1989 kawasaki zx7 belt driven?

Yes, and if it goes out you're little battery wont take you very far as the fuel pump is electronic and runs dry quickly. The belts are $30-40 and come straight out of Japan. They are somewhat a pain to install and you have to be careful to obey the appropriate torque requirements (I think its 24 ft-lbs), but that is what I'm online looking for right now. It is a royal pain in general with my zx7.
