The Kawasaki Bayou 220 ATV was produced from 1988 to 2004. To determine the specific year of a Bayou 220 based on its serial number, you would need to consult Kawasaki's VIN decoding resources or manuals, as the serial number typically contains information that indicates the year of manufacture. If you have the serial number, you can look it up to find the exact model year.
if you find the VIN# you can call any Kawasaki dealership and get the year.
You can see a wiring diagram for the 1995 220 Kawasaki Bayou in the Haynes Repair Manual for the 220 Kawasaki Bayou. You can also find a diagram in DIY repair books.

i had this problem a while back, i went to the kawasaki web site, went to the parts department and it asked me for my vin number, after i put that in there, it told me what it was and the year, hope that helps. You can also put your VIN into a website that will decode it and tell you the year along with other information.
