How do you add transmission oil to a 1983 Honda CX650C motorcycle?

The transmission and the engine use the same oil. Ensure that your engine oil is full, and the tranny will be fine. Use Casrtrol 10w40. Dont waste money on 'motorcycle' oil. It makes no difference and only cost you a lot more.

The rear end gets 80/90 weight gear oil.
