It depends. On some later models, using the OEM carburetors, the air screw cannot be adjusted. This is for example true of the 2006 model. On the 2004 model it is adjustable. In case of a non-adjustable air screw, you should turn the fuel screw right in so that it does not furn any more. Loosen it up three turns. Start the bike and adjust the fuel screw a bit in either direction so that the engine runs smoothly. In case your model has an adjustable air screw, turn this until it reaches bottom. Then, loosen it one and a half turn and adjust for smooth running of the engine. Carburetor tuning should only be done on a warm engine.
