First, make sure the reservoir is full with dot 4. Need 2 people. Slack the rear bleeder and then tighten. Have the other person apply the foot brake and hold it down, then while they are holding it down, you open the bleeder, let all the fluid and air out, tighten the bleeder and have the other person release the brake. Repeat as needed. You can attach a rubber hose to the bleeder and have the fluid go into a container to keep the area clean. Also one of the calipers in the front also works with the foot brake, bleed the correct one there also.

How do you bleed front and rear brakes on goldwing 2005?

To bleed the front and rear brakes on a 2005 Honda Goldwing, start by ensuring the motorcycle is on a level surface and the brake fluid reservoir is filled with the appropriate DOT 4 fluid. For the front brakes, use a vacuum pump or the traditional squeeze-and-hold method while loosening the bleeder valve on each caliper until fluid runs clear without bubbles. For the rear brakes, follow the same process at the rear caliper bleeder valve. Always check fluid levels and top off as needed during the process, and be sure to properly dispose of any used brake fluid.
