All Buell XB Models & Buell 1125R & 1125CR models
1.Support bike with rear wheel off ground
2.Loosen rear axle pinch bolt
3.Loosen rear axle approx 15 turns (to release belt tension via tapered fit on belt side.)
4.Remove swingarm brace and other impediments
5. Remove/replace belt
6. Reinstall and retighten components in reverse of above.

The Buell Firebolt was part of the XB1 series of motorcycles developed by the Buell Motorcycle company. The first was the Firebolt XB9R sports bike which was introduced in 2002.

The final drive belt of a domestic (sold in America) 2005 Buell XB12R has 128 teeth. Check your owners manual (see links below) for export versions.

Follow the recommendations in your Buell owner's manual. Either Forumula Plus, or Sport Trans. Any 20W50 synthetic engine oil is also okay.
