Hey, if im thinking right Polaris 250 s were all 2 stroke, no oil needs to be changed.
Approximately 2 quarts of oil are needed to change the oil of a Polaris Outlaw 500 ATV. Slightly more oil is needed if the filter is changed.
where is the plug on the 400 4x4 ATV to drain the oil? Isn't the 400 a two stroke? No oil in case.
1.9quartz, full synthetic
Yes you can. Polaris does not manufacture oil. Polaris oil may very well be made by Valvoline or some other oil company. You can use any brand oil you want as long as it meets Polaris specifications.
I have a 1998 polaris trailboss 250. You put 3 ounces of 2 cycle oil to a gallon of gas. I know this for sure. Sometimes on older trailboss's the self oiler don't work so i mix mine up and put it in the tank. Keeps you from having to wonder if your ATV is getting the oil it needs. Thanks You Poke Ur But!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Polaris four stroke oil is a 0-40w synthetic.

Using Mobil Oil SHC 220 in your Polaris ATV is not recommended unless it meets the specific viscosity and performance requirements outlined in your ATV's owner manual. Most ATVs require specific types of engine oil formulated for their engines, and using a different type could affect performance and potentially void the warranty. Always consult the owner's manual or a Polaris dealer for the appropriate oil specifications for your ATV.
You do not have to use so-called ATV oil. ATV oil is the very same oil as used in your automobile. Use any major brand SAE oil in the correct weight. I recommend you use a 100% synthetic oil.
