To change the Primary chain oil, you simply remove the lower left drain plug after placing a a drain pan under the drain hole. Let the case drain for a bit while removing the four 27 torx screws from the middle inspection cover. When the case has been drained, place the drain plug back in the drain hole after cleaning it and replacing the o-ring, and torque it to proper specs as stated in the Harley Manual. Add one quart of Amsoil MCV 20-50 through the inspection cover hole. Replace the gasket with a new one before tightening the cover back on the case. Tighten the four 27 Torx screws to 10-12NM in a criss-cross pattern on the inspection cover after adding the oil.
To do this it might help to acquire a stand of some sort to keep the bike straight up while you are serving it.
To change the transmission oil simply remove the drain plug on the right side of the oil pan which faces straight down after placing a drain pan under the tranny. Remove the tranny dip stick with a Hex key (Allen wrench) and after draining, cleaning the drain plug, adding a new o-ring and coating it with the proper sealant, torque it to specs. Once that is done , you can add 20-24 ounces of Amsoil Severe Gear 85-110w to the tranny checking the dip stick after you have added about 20 ounces to make sure it is on the full mark with the bike sitting straight up.
