With engine warm and the bike on the center stand, oil catch pan under neath. The drain plug is on the right side in the back of the engine. Large sized bolt. Drain, and then move the catch pan to the front under the oil filter. This is the container with the fins on it. Remove the center bolt, and the casing will come out. Be careful, there is a washer and a spring in there. The long bolt has an o-ring on it, replace that, this comes with the new filter. Also a large o-ring for the casing. With the long bolt in the casing, next the spring, the washer then the filter. There are tabs on the casing that line up with a boss on the engine. Line this up and then tighten the casing. Fill with 10w40 oil 3.2 Liters ( 3.4 U.S. quarts ) Run it up and check for leaks.
