Well, I have an '04 TTR225 and I'm sure they're quite similar. On the lower left side of the engine, directly behind the gear shifter, there will be the oil plug. Loosen it with a 19mm wratchet. The oil will immediately begin to pout out. Contain it somehow with a bucket or whatever is available and dispose of it accordingly. Then reinsert the plug and fill it with the correct amount of oil. The entry wat for the oil will be directly above the "YAMAHA" logo on the right side of the engine casing. Pop that off and fill with the correct amount of oil. And there ya go(:
The motor oil capacity of the 2002 Yamaha Road Star is 5.3 quarts. However, it is recommended to use 4.3 quarts with a filter change or 3.9 quarts without a filter change.

To change the oil on a 2002 Yamaha 125 Breeze, first, ensure the engine is warm for easier oil drainage. Remove the oil drain bolt from the bottom of the engine and let the old oil drain completely into a container. Replace the drain bolt, then remove the oil filler cap and pour in new oil, typically 10W-40, until it reaches the appropriate level on the dipstick. Finally, run the engine briefly to circulate the new oil, check for leaks, and dispose of the old oil properly.
there should be a sight glass on the right side of the motor
