You will need to remove the oil pan plug. Allow the old oil to drain out. Replace the oil pan plug and fill with new oil.

You do not have to use so-called ATV oil. ATV oil is the very same oil as used in your automobile. Use any major brand SAE oil in the correct weight. I recommend you use a 100% synthetic oil.

Pure Polaris synthetic .. it costs about 8 bucks a quart, but it's cheaper than a rebuild..
