What type of transmission oil goes into a 1994 Polaris Sportsman 400?

For a 1994 Polaris Sportsman 400, the recommended transmission oil is Polaris AGL (All-Season Gear Lube) or a similar high-quality gear oil with a viscosity rating of 75W-90. It's important to avoid using automotive transmission fluids, as they may not provide the necessary protection for the ATV's transmission. Always check the owner's manual for specific recommendations and guidelines.
