replacing the windsnield requires special tools and urethane sealant which is not available to the general public. so leave it to the pros. You can pick up urethane sealant for auto glass at most parts stores.
it is best to let a auto glass shop do it. if not, you will have to take piano wire, force it thru the sealant around windshield, and saw old windshield out. then you must scrape and clean all old sealant off the frame. get caulking gun tube of new sealant and run bead around frame. make sure bead is uniform size, about half inch wide. then get a friend to help you set the windshield in place. press it firmly all the way around, but do not try to mash it in place. take a razor scraper and clean any excess off from inside the windshield. let set 24 hours before washing or driving.

Auto mats that are easy to clean and still look nice are rubber mats. You can find them in different designs and patterns, and to clean the easiest way is to spray them down with a hose and air dry. You can also use a vacuum for dry messes.
The windshield is literally glued into place. You have to cut through the sealant all the way around the windshield (about 1.5" from where the sealant starts to the edge of the windshield". All auto glass places have tools they have modified specifically for this purpose. A 2" wide putty knife would doo the trick with a lot of effort. Once you have severed the sealant all the way around you need to clean off all the remaining sealant from the car surface and lay down a new bead of windshield adhesive. You can then place the new windshield carefully into place and press it into the correct position. Anchor with some wide masking tape in several spots to keep windshield from sliding down. Leave overnight. Remove tape the next morning.
