To derestrict a moped by removing the spacer from the exhaust, first, ensure the moped is turned off and cool to prevent injury. Locate the exhaust pipe and identify the spacer, which is typically a restriction device to limit airflow. Carefully remove the bolts or screws holding the spacer in place, then take it out and reassemble the exhaust system without it. This modification may enhance performance, but be aware that it could also affect legality and insurance coverage.
variator, exhaust,
How do you derestrict a pulse zoom 50?"I have the same bike/moped as you, and I took it to the dealer were he put in a de-ristricted CDI unit and took out the variator restriction plus something in the exhaust system what i dont know. But it still only does around 40-45mph, so not worth it really.

Hi Ella :D
£50 for it all
To rejet a moped, start by removing the carburetor from the engine. Replace the main jet with a larger one to increase fuel flow, which is necessary if you've made modifications like adding a performance exhaust or air filter. After reinstalling the carburetor, test the moped to ensure it runs smoothly; fine-tune further if necessary by adjusting the needle and idle settings. Always consult your moped's manual for specific jet sizes and settings.
Yes, in most states, you need a moped license or a regular driver's license to operate a moped.

Well to be safe atleast go 1000, i know it may seem much but if u derestrict your moped to early it will pretty much tear up ur pistons and the inside of ur engine, if u drive atleast 1000 ur "breaking in" period is usally done, that's just means the rings that fit around ur pistons are sealed in so its less likely to break.
Driving a moped is like driving a car. You have to have a licences to drive a moped.
