To remove the speedometer from a Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 Classic, start by disconnecting the negative battery terminal to ensure safety. Next, remove the speedometer housing by unscrewing the mounting bolts and gently pulling it off. Disconnect the wiring harness and speedometer cable from the back of the speedometer. Finally, lift the speedometer out of the housing, taking care not to damage any components during the process.
