READ THE MANUAL BEFORE DOING ANYTHING!! My husband just tried to replace my battery on my 2005 1200C. The negative terminal post completely melted off onto my garage floor and the wrench got so hot it burned his palm....After this, he read my manual which said to connect the positive terminal first. He connected the negative terminal first..who would have thought it would make that much of a difference... Good luck!
I just had my 2008 Custom 1200 ran on a Dyno and it registered 61 with everything stock. They said if I changed pipe, air intake and put in a race tuner it could get mid 70s
most 2004 and later 1200 use 91. But check your owners manual. Don't ask the sales man, ask the mechanic if you must call

The turn signal module on a 2008 Harley-Davidson Sportster XL is typically located under the seat. To access it, you'll need to remove the seat by unscrewing the bolts that secure it. Once the seat is off, you'll find the module mounted near the battery, usually connected to the wiring harness. If you're having trouble locating it, consult the owner's manual for specific diagrams and guidance.
On a 2008 Harley-Davidson Sportster 1200 Custom, the transmission fill plug is typically located on the right side of the transmission case. It's a hex-shaped plug that can be removed with the appropriate size socket or wrench. To check the fluid level, you can remove this plug and add transmission fluid as necessary, ensuring it’s at the correct level. Always consult the owner's manual for specific details and guidelines.
I don't have the owners manual for my '08 but someone told me with an '08 the manual says 30psi for front(both solo & w/passenger); 36psi for rear solo, 40psi w/ passenger
behind the driver side wheel. take the wheel off and then remove the plastic cover and the battery is right there just behind the front light.
In the passenger footwell under the foam block. Lift up the carpet, remove the foam block and you will find the battery.
To remove the battery from a 2008 Jeep, first ensure the vehicle is turned off and parked on a flat surface. Using a wrench, disconnect the negative terminal (black) first to prevent any short circuits, followed by the positive terminal (red). Once both terminals are disconnected, remove any securing bracket or clamp and carefully lift the battery out of the tray. Always handle the battery with care, and consider wearing gloves for safety.
1200.
My 2008 Sprinter 3500 (Motorhome) has the engine battery under the floor in front of the driver seat. I just hooked up my Battery Tender to it for recharging. The owner's manual shows how to remove it which I'll probably have to do if the recharging doesn't work.
