remove the seat first (key in the side of the bike). you should then be able to get to the battery. if my memory serves me correctly you should then be able to pull the battery terminals and the battery strap, and pull the battery out!

I use LRP type gasoline to my '96 suzuki dr 200se
The battery fuse is located on the front of the battery on a 96 Nissan Altima. The fuse is the middle one.
If you have an 89-96 Katana, you can usually reach up under the main body fairing, behind the headlight. There is a rubber boot on the back of the headlight reflector (the glass headlight casing). If you pry off the rubber boot, the bulb will come with it. You should be able to swap the bulb with a good one and wiggle the boot back in place. If you have large hands or this seems too hard to do in a cramped space, you will want to remove your fairings.
The pump is inside the fuel tank.

Either the battery is no good or the starter or starter relay has gone bad. The reason why the battery may be bad is that something may be wrong with the rectifier also known as a cut-out or with the electric system. It should not be difficult to fix.
under the back seat
On the 96 to 03 Bandits you have to remove the seat (turn the helmet lock about a quarter turn in the opposite direction as when you open the hook, then lift the rear end of the seat). Just behind the fuel tank you'll see a plastic cover with two screws that has a battery outline. Remove the two screws and you'll find the battery inside.
