The best way to repair a 1999 ZX-9r's transmission is to buy a good used one from a 2000 or newer ZX-9r and install it. The 2000 and newer is a much better designed unit and will not have near the problems as the 1999 unit. You can also send your 1999 unit to a reputable shop to have all the gears undercut but this is a much more expensive option compared to dropping the 2000 tranny in it.

To change the nose light on a 2003 Kawasaki Ninja ZX9R, first, ensure the motorcycle is turned off and the key is removed. Remove the fairing or headlight assembly by unscrewing the necessary bolts, which are typically located at the front and sides. Once the assembly is free, disconnect the wiring harness and remove the old bulb by twisting it counterclockwise. Insert the new bulb, reconnect the wiring, and reassemble the fairing, ensuring everything is securely fastened.

On a 1999 Kawasaki ZX9R, the engine number is typically found on the right side of the engine block, near the front, just above the oil filter. Kawasaki stopped making the ZX9 in 2003. If it is any other year you have to take the gas tank off & the air box to access the plugs.
There's a small ratchet bolt right behind the seat in the rear compartment, undo that then the front seat should lift and back out, make sure you lock the seat back in right when putting back together!
