Replace Cutter Belt COX Mower

1. Turn Fuel Off. Remove Key.

2. Remove the rear plate, this gains access to the Hydro Pulley Block.

3. Lift the seat up, 13mm socket and spanner remove the 4 bolts.

Now, lifting the whole Pulley Block, and tilting the top backwards, generally wiggling the mongrel around, and slide of any surviving belts and remove this block completely.

4. Chop out any remaining DEAD belts.

5. Raise RHS of Mower and Prop with a 14" 350mm piece of wood, under rear axle. At the Hydro case. It should balance here. Be carefull.....

6. Lower the Cutter Deck to Lowest Point.

7. Pull the pin from Cutter Deck adjusting bolt, pull bolt from deck and replace pin so it doesn't get lost

8. Loosen 2 Bolts holding belt guides at cutter Pulley 10mm spanners

9. Do not undo completely, this is to allow the new belt to fit around the pulley. Fit new Belt B58 Gates or Equivalent, and extend the belt back,

as far as possible to the top of the Hydro drive.

10. Retighten the 2 bolts holding the belt guides

11. Replace the Cutter deck adjusting bolt, and slip in the pin.

12. Raise the Cutter Deck as high as possible

Lovely little coupling bits where it comes off. Yellow bit in the above photo. Is your fan blade as "killed" "Dead" as mine. Yeh...more Dollars.

13. OK. Put the coupling Block back, fit the belts, ("center groove is not a pulley") and engage the coupling bits. Fit belt guides at rear, finish putting it all together.

14. Crack a stubby and mow. mow. mow your................
