One way is to disconnect the negative and the positive battery cables and then touch them together. This will clear the ECM. Next do the reset process. Start the bike and don't touch the throttle. Wait until the cooling fans turns on. When the fans turn, then turn bike off with the key only. Don't touch the throttle during warm-up.
