the top timing gear has a dot the case has a line line them up same for the bottom the chain is to be connected on the top mark.the valves will need to be adjusted if adjust the timing the front valve is the exhaust the rear valve is the intake.
this is not correct answer. there is 3 timing marks on the magneto, and two ways to set the Top Gear....help !!!
