Disengage blades, push down and/or lock it and turn the key. If nothing happens, the most common parts for failure are the key switch and the solenoid.

Where is the low idle fuel mixture adjustment on a 2007 LT 1046 cub cadet riding mower model # 13AP11CH710
I have a 2007 cub cadet LT 1046 riding mower. I wish to adjust the low idle fuel mixture, but cant find the adjustment screw. Could you tell me where, and would I have to take off any other components off to get to it? the mower has a Kohler Courage 23 HP Model SV 720S engine. Thanks- Butch.

Disconnect the solenoid wire, turn the bowl counter clockwise. No tools are needed.
Pull starter apart. Clean commutater and the grooves in the commutater. Make sure the brushes are good and reassemble. Should work well.
Less is 0.15 lt 1 lt = 1,000 ml So 0.15 lt = 150 ml and 150 is smaller than 300
To change the oil on a Huskee LT 4200 riding mower, first ensure the engine is cool and level. Start by removing the oil drain plug located at the bottom of the engine and allow the old oil to fully drain into a container. Replace the drain plug, then fill the engine with fresh oil through the dipstick tube, using the recommended oil type and amount specified in the owner's manual. Finally, check the oil level with the dipstick and run the engine for a few minutes to circulate the new oil, then recheck the level and top off if necessary.
The idler pulley is located just in front of and to the left of the right-side mower pulley. It's mounted on a bracket which has a long spring attached from it to the front of the mower deck. You can see a good diagram of this at www.partsandservice.com/html/Murray/lt/lt42910x92a.html and click on "mower housing". The belt is Murray part # 37X75 which translates to 1/2" wide by 91.25" around. Any larger mower shop would have this or an aftermarket equivilant.
The deck must be slipped beneath the machine from the left, the lift lever locked down and the rear hangers and front hanger plate attached. The belt will take take a 90 degree twist with the front part to the left side.
I have a JD LT 155 C. I have replaced the solenoid and the mower still want start. There is 12 volts between the battery and the solenoid. When I test the voltage between the solenoid and the starter, the reading is 5 to 6 volts. Why is there a drop in the voltage to the starter?
