Many ATVs have two ways to start the motor. The easiest, most convenient method of starting is electric start. To do this, turn the key on, push the on/off button to the run position and finally push the start button. If the motor is cold, then the choke may need to be opened.
The other way to start an ATV is with a pull cord with which most quads are equipped. The procedure begins exactly the same as with electric start, turn on the key and push on/off switch to the run position. The difference here is instead of pushing the start button, pull the starting cord. My experience is that it is a little harder to start with the cord, but it works in a pinch.
yes
Yes, if your car battery is the same voltage as the ATV battery.
If your solenoid is bad on your atv raptor it will just click when trying to start it
Yes long as the other ATV is running.
quad wot start up after jumping it off a carbattery
It depends on the size. a smaller cc ATv ( 90 cc) will be easier to kick then a 250 cc or a 400 cc ATV. Just wear boots.
the ATV should be in neutral to start the ATV. do not press the gas and lift the shifter up to put it in gear and push the throttle and you will be on your way. (some auto clutch ATV's gears are all down instead of up.)
When it comes to a beginning style of ATV's Yamaha seem to be the best choice. The Yamaha Raptor 350 is a good starter ATV and they start at around $4,800 for the 2011 model.
in the psp start up
you have a loose or dirty battery cable battery is weak or cilenoide is going out.
sand in the starter or dead battery. make sure your battery is fully charged and stand up your ATV on its rear wheels 3/4 of the way and try to start it. itll get the sand out but make sure your battery is charged. if that doesnt work it could be your sarter solenoid. 20 bucks at Honda
charge the battery, change the battery, use the back up start either a pull start or kick start.
