Yo you need to be 17 dude .. but you can always just buy a 50cc and put a 70cc bore up kit in it to make it go faster .. that's what ive done .. this way you can get insurance.
23 mph unless you have a kit on it. does that help?
the 80cc kit is for a faster run
well the way i done it was buying a Leo vince exhaust that came with new rollers and springs and i got 55 out of it. if you wanted more out of it you would have to do a new bigger carb and an 70cc big bore kit and a sports filter
If it is the 2 stroke you need a 70cc mid race kit, 21mm carb, expansion chmaber exhaust, Malossi or similar variator and higher final drive gears. If you do all of that you will have a 60-70mph scooter with much much better acceleration than standard.
around 32mph as all unrestricted 50cc road scooters go then wen ur experienced they can go up to 65mph ie derestrict them put a new exhaust on and a 70cc kit then it will go a pleasurable speed ive got the piaggio nrg power it goes 55+ full tuned piaggio nrg's can hit around 95 mph but it takes alot of work and money
to answer your question my sons derbi senda r does 55mph with me on it and im 14stone but remember it is unrestricted and if you upgrade to a 70 or 80cc kit it will go even faster
no i cant turn a 50cc pitbike into a 125cc pit bike the bike will blow up .
any 50cc bike will go around 30mph, that's why you can ride them at aged 16 (in the UK. There are ways to increase the top speed. - Big bore kit, this comes with a piston and increases the speed (although it will raise the 50cc to what ever size you decide to buy - stroked crank, this makes the piston go back and forth further, but increases the wear on the piston.
polini would proberly be the best due to the fact you do not need the expensive ecu upgrade if your not on a budget then go for the malossi kit both can be purchased here http://www.adrenalin-pedstop.co.uk/
There could be a restriction in the intake air box or the exhaust (or both). The vehicle may need to be re-jetted (carb) after the restriction is removed. Years ago I picked up 7 mph on a moped by just removing the baffle in the air box. No re-jetting was required however the noise level did increase. Also, there could be restricters in the muffler that can either be removed, or have holes drilled in them. You can do a google search of removing moped muffler restricters (not necessarily exact keywords) and you can also find a nice performance air filter to replace the existing air filter, which may be very big, and bulky, most likely blocking a lot of air flow, which will give you more power. These are the simplest ways to increase power without serious modification. If you want to go very fast, buy yourself a speed kit. Be aware of your state laws though, laws change when the definition of a moped (no more than 30mph and 50cc) changes. And removing your baffle will probably violate certain noise ordinances. Depends on the kit car and its specs
