Horsepower and cubic capacity have NO direct connection !- A 212 cc engine denotes ONLY the capacity. It's horsepower could be anything from about 6 - 80 hp.
Horsepower and cc(size of engine) do not relate like that. It could be a slow moving lawnmower engine of 5-6 hp or a highly tuned dirt bike engine of 30 or more hp.
A 179 cc engine is around 5.5-6 horsepower. There's no hard and fast rules on cc to hp conversion there are too many variables.
Approx 6 hp
A little over 250cc The easiest conversion is to take the (hp x 42.3) = cc this of course is not exact but very very close... 253.8cc
5 hp and 6 ft llbs tourqe
This is from movingsnow.com: Here is a simple chart of approximate cc to torque to horsepower conversions. It's not exact, but it will give you a better idea of how big the new engines are. I used 3600 rpm in the formula for this comparison. 179 cc = 5 hp 205 cc = 8 to 9 Gross Torque = 5.5 to 6 hp 250 cc = 11 to 11.5 Gross Torque = 7 to 8 hp 305 cc = 13.5 to 14.5 Gross Torque = 9 to 10 hp 342 cc = 15.5 to 16.5 Gross Torque = 11 to 12 hp
Seems to be 6 hp.
6 hp is 190 cc here is a example........ http://www.amazon.com/Excell-Powered-Pressure-Washer-XC2800/dp/B0014T9AA2
I was thinking closer to 150 cc but it's not an exact science.
The number of horsepower (hp) produced by a 212 cc engine can vary depending on various factors such as the engine's design, compression ratio, fuel type, and overall efficiency. However, there is a general rule of thumb used to estimate horsepower from engine displacement. For small gasoline engines like those used in lawnmowers, generators, or small utility vehicles, the typical conversion is approximately 1 horsepower for every 15-16 cc of engine displacement. This means a 212 cc engine is roughly estimated to produce around 13-14 horsepower. Keep in mind that this is just an approximate estimate, and the actual horsepower output of a specific 212 cc engine may differ slightly based on its specific design and tuning. For more accurate and precise information, it's best to consult the engine's manufacturer or refer to the specific model's specifications. you can used online cc to hp calculator -
