From the Briggs & Stratton literature you know torque at a specific RPM you can use math to calculate HP at that RPM. The Engine you are asking about has 11.5 lbs/ft of torque. Multiply 11.5 X 3060 RPM (measurement engine speed) then divide by 5250 (HP Factor). So the engine in question has 6.7 HP at 3060 RPM.

This particular engine is normally run at 3600 RPM not 3060 as done in the testing. We must assume a little here but there are two approaches you can take. Substitute the run RPM for the test RPM in the formula and you get 7.5HP (assuming a flat torque curve) another approach, the Test RPM is 85% of the run RPM divide the 6.7HP by .85 and you get 7.8 HP.

So What is it really? Without a copy of the torque curve you can't definitely say. But I would wager it would have been rated as an 8 or 8.5 HP in the old days. Remember this is the HP on the engine Shaft with no equipment attached.

This would be a good engine for a 24" to 27" two stage snow blower.

Torque x RPM / 5250 = HP

What is the hp of a 250cc Briggs and stratton engine?

Displacement and HP are only related to each other in a range because of engine variations. I agree but was curious how did you get the cc of a lawnmower? If it is a lawnmower the hp comes out with an educated guess of about 12 hp.

What kilowatt is 250cc?

The power output of an engine is not directly measured in kilowatts for a specific engine displacement like 250cc. It depends on various factors like the design, fuel system, and tuning of the engine. In general, a typical 250cc motorcycle engine may produce between 20-30 kW (kilowatts) of power.

How much is ''250cc''?

"250cc" refers to the engine displacement of a motorcycle or vehicle, specifically 250 cubic centimeters. This measurement indicates the size of the engine and is a key factor in determining the power and performance of the vehicle. Generally, a 250cc engine is considered suitable for beginner riders or those looking for a lightweight and manageable bike.

What is the speed of 250 cc on motorcycles?

This is a poorly phrased question, but we'll assume you want to know a bikes top speed with a 250cc engine. First, there are many other factors that determine an engine's peak hp other than it's displacement. Top speeds are generally influenced by aerodynamics, gearing, grip, and force (HP). A rider can reduce air resistance by leaning forward on the bike. Weight will effect acceleration, not top speed. There are different 250cc motorcycles, CC = cubic centimeters, this is the capacity of the cylinders in the engine. There is no specific speed of a 250cc bike. you could have a 250cc dirt bike that goes about 60mph, or a 250cc Honda rebel that does 80. Hope this helps a little.

How can the CC identify in bikes?

CC can be defined as the power of engine, for example 250 cc bike stand for 250cc is the power of engine for that bike.
