About 650 ml.
The 1979 Honda CR250 typically requires about 1 quart (approximately 0.95 liters) of oil in the crankcase. It's important to use the recommended oil type, which is usually a high-quality 2-stroke oil. Always refer to the owner’s manual for specific maintenance details and capacity requirements.

A 2001 CR250 takes 850 cc's. The oil capacity should be stamped on the motor by the fill plug in cc's. You're supposed to run the engine before you pull the check bolt. That makes sure the oil is distributed throughout the gearbox area. If you don't, oil will run out before you put the full amount in it.
There are many variables to consider...Nada values the 98 at about 1100, but you could pay more or less depending on the condition. A mint 1998 cr250 could be worth 1500 if it was in the right condition, and a shitbox could only be worth 800. Hope this helps.
It wouldn't be very easy to find a new Honda RC250. However, the price of this vehicle would be around 6,000 dollars. One could buy used ones for 2,000 - 3,000 dollars.
