For a Yamaha YZ80, the recommended oil-to-fuel mix is typically 32:1, which means you should mix 4 ounces of two-stroke oil with 1 gallon of gasoline. It's essential to use high-quality two-stroke oil designed for motorcycles to ensure optimal performance and engine protection. Always check the owner's manual for specific recommendations, as there may be slight variations depending on the model year.
What is the gas to oil ratio fot a 1982 Yamaha PW50? Do you need to mix it manually or does it automatically mix together by putting straight gasoline in the gas tank and straight oil in the oil tank?
i have a yz80 and i run 24:1 but u can go as lean as 32:1 but no leaner than that or she will blow
32:1
24 to 1
Premix (mix oil and petrol at a certain ratio) Contact you local Yamaha dealer for the best mix.
Yamaha recommeded 20/1
No, Yamaha's TTR lineup is all 4 stroke motorcycles.
25 to 1
I have a 1983 IT175 Yamaha and the fuel mix is recommended by Yamaha at 28 to 32: 1 I use 30:1 ratio. Hope this helps
32:1 mixture, easiest way to do it is get a cup that gives you gallons to ounces ratio on side and fill to correct level of oil and pour into gas can ..any bike shop carries or can get very cheap and simple for consistant mixture.
I would run anywhere between 20-1 to 50-1 depending on oil and how much smoke you want, 50-1 for good expensive oil will make the engine smoke less and run cleaner but 20-1 with cheep oil is acceptable for lubrication
50:1 ratio
