Put the bike on its side stand. Loosen and remove the oil fil plug on the right hand top side of the crankcase. Put a funnel into the hole. Put a large pan or container under the crankcase. Loosen and remove the oil drain plug from the bottom of the crankcase. The old oil will run out. Then, put the oil drain plug back in and tighten it. Finally, pout the correct amount of JASO MA or MA2 certified oil into the crankcase. If you want to change the oil filter then do after you have drained all oil from the engine and before you fill up with new oil.
