One thing you can do is before attempting to start is to rotate the throttle twice to add gas to the carb. If that doesn't work then you must check to see if you are getting a spark. If you are, then you must check to see if fuel is reaching the carb. Sometimes the fuel line or filters are blocked.
Beyond these simple tests, you must see a mechanic
PS Some bikes have an engine kill switch, make sure it is in the on position.
