Yes, a reverse gear can be fitted to a Kawasaki VN 1500, but it typically requires an aftermarket kit designed specifically for that model. Some kits are available that allow for the installation of a reverse gear, which can be useful for maneuvering the heavy bike in tight spaces. However, it's important to consult a professional mechanic to ensure proper installation and compatibility with the motorcycle's existing systems.
I'm using NGK Iridium plugs, CR7EIX with the gap set to 0.7mm, as per the UK NGK website.
Yes. Everything is interchangeable between them. Very little if anything ever changed between any of the vn750 model years.
To replace the starter relay in a Kawasaki VN 1500, first disconnect the motorcycle's battery to ensure safety. Locate the starter relay, typically found near the battery or under the seat, and remove the cover if necessary. Unplug the old relay from its connectors and remove any mounting screws. Install the new relay by reversing the process: secure it in place, reconnect the connectors, and finally reconnect the battery.
North VN invaded and ultimately conquered South VN. South VN never invaded North VN.
If your Vulcan is a US model an 85 will be a 700cc moter. due to tarrifs the US govt put on import bikes for that year, the 86 is the first year the Vulcan came as a 750cc because Kawasaki moved a plant into the US. The VN7xx's are the same basic bike from beginning to end of production, so simple answer is yes the 85 will fir into the frame of the 89. There are probably going to be some minor differances though, the brake pedal might be differant and on later models the master cylinder changed from the square to round. C
