The only seat adjustment that I know of is forward or backward. There is a pin you pull at the rear of the seat, and it will slide. As for up or down, there is none that I know of.
The 1200 and 1500 had a seat height of 30.7" until 1995. They lowered the seat height to 29.1" in 1995.
where "ARE" the seat adjustment buttons. Please... limit your questions to reasonable ones. I have a 1989 300e. The seat adjustments are on the door next to the door handle. There are three adjustment knobs, one for the seat, one for the back, and one for the headrest.
The fuse box on a 1981 GL1100 Goldwing is located under the seat near the battery. It is sealed in a water tight box to prevent damage.
Remove the seat and the top compartment. It's under the air filter.
Left side of the bike. Remove plastic cover just below seat.
Check the side panel, left side, just under the seat.
To lower the driver's seat in a Ford Probe, locate the seat adjustment lever, usually found on the side of the seat. Pull the lever upward while simultaneously pushing down on the seat to lower it to your desired height. Some models may also have a knob for height adjustment, which you can turn to achieve the desired position. Ensure the seat is securely locked in place after adjustment.
If it is the same as the'84 to '87's then 2 bolts in the back of the seat ( passenger seat ) each side, with Allan key, remove, then slide seat I believe forward to release the catch that's under the seat.
Left hand side. Remove the plastic panel that is below the seat on the side of the bike.
If you are comparing a post-95 model GL1500 to the newer GL1800's, there is no seat height difference (29.1"). There is a slight difference in the narrowness of the newer bike allowing for shorter legs a more direct route to the ground. As for pre-95 models, the seat is about one inch higher and the body panels are a bit wider.
Pop off the LEFT side cover that is below the seat and there you will see the battery.
As far as I know, there is no adjustment.
