Hi,

I am not sure who i should send this to but i am sure you will be able to help. I have a 2004 Rocket 3 which is the best bike i have ever had.

I have just had the 20,000 service which went well. Taking the bike home it took off on me revving at 2000rpm and the only way to stop this was hit the kill switch. The dealer tells me that it is the Throttle Control sending the wrong message to the bikes computer. He said it was a fault with the earlier model Rockets. I am a bit dissapointed to find out by nearly coming off due to a faulty part. They tell me the part is worth $470.00 Dollars plus fitting. Are you able to tell me more about this part and how a bike that has only done 20,000 km's have a part that is faulty and may cause the bike to over rev and cause an accident.
