First call your local Yamaha dealer, they should be able to look it up for you, most service departments are very helpful.
If it is a Powervalved SRX, not an SXR, 135-140 is a safe bet, depending on your jetting and other carb settings.
The only setting is one screw on the top of each carb its the mixture screw and should is 1.5 turns out by default.
1989 Celebrities are fuel injected, there is no carb.
The carb bowl drain nut is located on the bottom of the carb.
Replace the seals in it.
On the side of the carb.

1989 Tercel does not have a carburetor, it is Fuel Injected. Wrong. My 1989 Tercel has a carb.

a mikuni vm30ss came stock on a 1980 Yamaha tt250,as i have one and am looking for parts for one.Alot of the parts for this carb and bike have been discontinued,so they are unavailible through Yamaha and are very hard to find anywhere..
