Metering rod -middle groove Air mixture screw - all the way in (not tight) then out 1 3/4 turns, Then (with motor running) turn in till it starts to run bad, then out till it starts to run bad, back in 3/4 turn. if the motor does not run good at high speeds, adjust the metering rod up or down one groove, Try different settings till it runs good. NOTE, most times the metering rod will not need any adjustment.
