The gas used is the same. You just need to be sure that neither one of them are 2 cycle. Or that they both are 2 cycle. Most lawn mowers are 4 stroke whcih means they use the straight gas right out of the pump. Dirt bikes can use straight gas or gas mixed with oil.

It depends on the bike, riding conditions and usage. Standard factory mixture is 32:1 (for Yamaha 2 strokes) But with my racing bike, to allow it to perform at peak, we use a synthetic two stroke oil and mix it as little as 42:1 (gas:oil)

Supreme (or the highest grade) gas and (automotive) synthetic 5w 30 oil if you can't get to a bike shop. It's best to use ktm oil though. And if you're referring to two stroke oil, you can use basically any two stroke oil concentrate but again is best to use ktm oil
