Suzuki recommends conventional 10w-40, but I own 2 and always run Penzoil fully synthetic 10w-40 with wet clutch protection.
I have a 2001 Suzuki Bandit 1200s with over 116k miles. Original clutch, have never had any engine work. Whenever I've checked the valves there have been only 2 or 3 that were .001 off. I change the oil every 2k miles and use MC oil. I ride year round in Northern Va.
Suzuki Bandit GSF1200 (This is according to the Suzuki Service Manual) 1996 - 2000 Models: 514ml (17.3/18.1 US/Imp oz) per fork 2001 - 2004 Models: 507ml (17.1/17.9 US/Imp oz) per fork for E-03, 28, 33 models. 509ml for others.
a bandit 600 takes 3300ml of 10W40 semi synthetic oil :) i hope this helps :)
The 1996 Suzuki Bandit motorcycle can use any 10W-30 motor oil. A heavier motor oil can be used in extreme climates.
10w 40 its on the side of the bike lol
Under the bike on the left side is a 17mm nut.
5W30
10w40 motorcycle oil will work fine.
10w-40 semi synthetic 4 stroke oil will do nicely! Just under 4 liters for an oil change.
mineral oil 10-40 (typical user) but if you're on the track, then use synthetic
The Suzuki Bandit 1200 typically requires about 3.2 quarts (or approximately 3 liters) of oil with a filter change. If you're just changing the oil without replacing the filter, it may take around 2.8 quarts. Always refer to the owner's manual for the most accurate specifications and recommendations for your specific model year.
Standard 80w-90 grade oil is used in the gear box for a Suzuki GT 750 motorcycle. This provides the optimal lubrication while prolonging its overall life.
