I just drove about 1700 miles on vacation and averaged about 39.5 miles, with a passenger and about 100 pounds of luggage spread about the bike. Mainly back roads, lots of twists and turns (which was the point of the trip!)
The average MPG depends on what type of Honda motorcycle you are riding on. For example, a 2005 Honda VLX600 Shadow gets 49 MPG, while the 2005 Honda Rebel 250 gets 73 MPG.
The 2008 F150 achieves 14.0 mpg in the city, and 18.0 mpg on the highway.
The Suzuki GSX650F gets about 52 MPG. I have a 2008.
A 2008 Nissan Pathfinder has 15 mpg.
