32 to 1 is a good mixture but if you want to find the exact mixture your model is jetted for get a owners manuel if you use maxima racing oils visit there site and click on the premix oil you are using from them and it will tell you what the recommended ratio is if you are using that pacific oil from them once you click on the oil you use just go down and it will have all the cc recommended oils for the oil you are using from them but remember this is the only for if you are using there premix oil.
40:1
i think 1992
I just bought this model and was told by the local bike mechanic to run 30 to 1. Not sure what the manufacturer states though as I didn't get a manual with it.
25/9 gear ratio
its says to use 32:1 ratio, if the bike has a fresh rebuild of the cylinder and piston use 15:1
32:1 is the perfect ratio for this bike, it doesnt over load it with oil while providing plenty of engine lubrication
i use a 5 gallon jug and do a ratio of 40 to 1 its a little rich but will run good
This model 1Lx06 y-2 is something I do not recognize. The Y2 is a motocross bike built by Yamaha. Built from the 70s. You can safely run a 20 to 1 fuel/oil mixture until you find out exactly what the factory specs are. This may not be correct and you may foul a plug, but you will do no damage to the engine with this ratio. You should be able to see the date the bike was made by looking on the side of the frame where the front fork attach
To find available bike parts by model for purchase, you can check with the manufacturer's website or visit a local bike shop that carries parts specific to your bike model.
It depends on the bike, riding conditions and usage. Standard factory mixture is 32:1 (for Yamaha 2 strokes) But with my racing bike, to allow it to perform at peak, we use a synthetic two stroke oil and mix it as little as 42:1 (gas:oil)
You need to run one gallon of gas with 4 ounces of two stroke oil. That is a ratio of 32:1.
The available bike sizes for this model are small, medium, and large.
