It can be either 32:1 or 40:1. The 32:1 is a richer mix so if you are fowling plugs, switch to the 40:1. I run 40:1 and I have had no problems. 32:1 = 4 oz oil per gallon of gas40:1 = 3.2 oz per gallon of gas
32:1 is a good ratio.
The Kawasaki Bayou is a 4 stroke.
It is a 50:1 ratio, that is 1 pint to 6 gallons
The 1975 model, 85 hp Johnson outboard requires a 50:1 ratio, one pint of 2 cycle oil, to six gallons of fuel.
Use 40:1 and run a BR9EG spark plug.
All the 1974 model, V4 Johnson outboards, including the 85 hp, require a 50:1 ratio. This is roughly one pint of 2 cycle oil, to six gallons of fuel.
A 1988 model, 85 hp Force outboard requires a 50:1 ratio, one pint of 2 cycle oil, to six gallons of fuel.
50:1 you can use any two stroke oil. You don't need to buy the expensive stuff, as they all burn the same.
