50:1 That is what I run in my 1982 440 ss
i got mine up to 95 mph
From what I have read in the shop manuals for the 1979 and 1980 Exciters, there was a change between those 2 years where the CDI was not interchangeable due to the timing. So, I'm not sure how well it would run if you used one from a 1978 Exciter in a 1981 Exciter, or if you would eventually burn down the motor. However, if you have installed one, and it is working, then that's great.
The engine that comes standard with every Enticer 340 is a two-stroke, fan-cooled twin engine designed for this snowmobile. It reaches a maximum horsepower of 32 at 6,500 rpm, and a maximum torque of 25 foot-pounds at 6,000 rpm. With an engine size of 440-cubic centimeters, the Enticer can reach a maximum speed of 55 mph on the snow.
You do not "lube" a centrifugal clutch. http://www.snowmobileforum.com/engine-drivetrain/26360-generic-clutch-cleaning-advise.html
The 1992 Arctic Cat 440 snowmobile is equipped with a 440cc engine that typically produces around 70 horsepower. This model is known for its performance and agility in various snow conditions. The engine is a liquid-cooled, twin-cylinder design, contributing to its competitive power output for its time.
I think it's 65 hp. Might be 60, though. Anyway, it's plenty enough for such a light machine (got one).
