Good quality two stroke oil can be run at 32:1. If you are not sure of quality run the mixture at 20:1 which is rich but very safe. You may have some spark plug fouling at slow speeds.

No, the RT 175 is a 2 stroke.
The Yamaha IT 175 is compatible with various parts from Yamaha's other IT series models, particularly the IT 125 and IT 200. Components such as the engine top end, carburetor, and some suspension parts may also interchange. Additionally, aftermarket parts like handlebars, grips, and tires can be used, provided they match the specifications of the IT 175. Always verify compatibility before purchasing parts to ensure proper fit and function.
No fuel is getting to the cylinder, if there is good spark, assuming you checked the plug, wire and distrubitor. If spark is good right at the plug, then the intake valve is stuck shut.
I think it will. If you look at biebandit.com and find the oem Yamaha parts for the motorcycles in question and check to see if they are the same part number, if they are then they will interchange. you can crosscheck different years too if you found a 1975 ty 175 cylinder for your 1975 dt 175. So check out bikebandit and see for yourself, they are the next best thing to a Yamaha dealer.
