On your 2006 Harley Softail Deuce, the drain plug is located on the bottom of the oil pan. To access it, you'll need to position your motorcycle on a level surface and possibly use a socket wrench to remove the plug. Make sure to have a drain pan ready to catch the oil as it drains. Always consult your owner's manual for specifics regarding oil changes and drain plug locations.
Back off the swingarm..under the right side, a 5/8 drain plug.
Soft, black, sooty deposits easily identify this plug condition. This is most often caused by an over-rich, air/fuel mixture.
I think what you are referring to is a plug used to plug a hole through compression. An example would be a casting plug, commonly called a freeze plug. It is pressed into the hole sealing it. I have heard these called Soft Plugs.
The FX represents the style of front end on the bike. The STD is Soft Tail Deuce.
