I have a Honda 350 S and the oil filter is on the right side above the Dipstick.
Hypoid Gear Oil 80/90
To check the oil on a Honda Rancher 350 ES, locate the dipstick on the right side of the engine. Remove the dipstick, wipe it clean, then reinsert it without screwing it in to check the oil level. The oil should be between the upper and lower marks on the dipstick. Ensure the vehicle is on a level surface for an accurate reading.
You can use it in cooler weather but SAE 10W-40 is the preferred weight.
The 2003 Honda Rancher 350 typically holds about 2.5 quarts of oil when using a standard oil filter. If you're changing the oil and filter, you may need slightly more, around 2.8 quarts. Always refer to the owner's manual for the most accurate information and recommendations for oil type.
