What are three different types of viscosity weights in oil?

Three different types of viscosity weights of oil are single-grade, multi-grade, and high-performance synthetic oils. Single-grade oils have a fixed viscosity rating and are typically specified for use in specific temperature ranges. Multi-grade oils, such as 10W-30, offer a wider operating temperature range due to their ability to flow easily at low temperatures and maintain viscosity at high temperatures. High-performance synthetic oils provide superior protection and performance across a broader range of temperatures compared to conventional oils.

What type of transmission fluid goes in a 1990 Honda XL?

Never heard of an XL. In general, the best fluid for Honda automatics in Honda ATF. It has special additives and, in my experience, works better. Ditto for Honda MTL for manual trannys. Many people just use motor oil for manuals, but some oils have additives that are not suitable. Safest bet is to use the Honda stuff.

What kind of oil do you put in a Honda CR80 crankcase?

Where is the transmission fluid drain plug on a 2005 Honda Pilot LX 4WD?

Sorry, there is not a drain plug. Check local repair shops and have a BG transmission flush done. That way you are getting ALL of the fluid changed. Yes, there IS a drain plug. I have a 2003 Honda Pilot AWD and do the transmission oil changes myself. Crawl under your Pilot and have a look. The transmission drain plug and engine oil drain plug have labels next to them so you KNOW which is which. Don't listen to people who tell you crap like the answer above. You can also perform your own rear differential oil changes easily. The rear differential and the auto transmission BOTH require oil changes every 15 K miles so it is much cheaper getting the oils from Honda (DO NOT USE ANY OTHER BRAND OF OILS!) and doing it yourself. The rear differential uses VTM-4 oil and is only available from Honda. NEVER SUBSTITUTE FOR HONDA OILS. If in doubt, get the Haynes PILOT repair manual which shows you how to do all this maintenance. Good luck.

What kind of oil does a 1965 Honda 150 use?

My 1965 Honda 150 Benly or mini dream says on the engine below 15 c use 10w20 and above 15 use 10w30. The oil should be a straight weight. I would go to a Honda dealer since their oils actually have additives for the clutch performance.

Is it okay to us 10-40 oil in high mileage car?

Depends on what the correct weight was in the beginning. There are high milage oils in most all weights. Try that in the correct weight before moving to a heavier weight.
